The Belton Educational Foundation is hosting a 50/50 Raffle, sponsored by Troutt, Beeman, & Co., to benefit our programs in the Belton School District. This fundraiser provides our supporters the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets before and during our 2023 BEF Gala event on August 26, 2023. One lucky person will win half of the net proceeds and the other half of the net proceeds will be donated to the Belton Educational Foundation supporting our programs--teacher grants, educational enrichment (scholarships, tuition assistance, and leadership opportunities), Pirate Pantries (weekend food, shoes, coats and more), and mental health programs. Purchase tickets here.  Supporters can participate online and need not be present at the 2023 BEF Gala to win. Periodic updates of the jackpot amount will be posted on the BEF Facebook page and in the presentation at the event. Online sales begin approximately two weeks before the August 26th, BEF Gala; however, the online raffle start date is subject to change. The raffle will conclude once dinner begins at the BEF Gala, online sales end at the end of the day on August 25, 2023.

Tickets are sold at the following rates:  1 for $5, 5 for $20, 15 for $50 and 35 for $100 

The winning raffle ticket number/winner will be announced during the August 26th BEF Gala event during the Live Auction. The lucky winner will win 50 percent of the net proceeds collected through ticket sales.  The winner can claim the prize at that time if present. If a guest has the winning ticket number and doesn’t claim the prize during the BEF Gala event, they may call (816)348-1150. If the winner is not present at the event, BEF Staff will reach out via phone and email to the winner following the event.  The winning number/winner will also be listed on beltonfoundation.org, the BEF Facebook page, and the winner will have 30 days to claim their winnings.

50/50 Raffle winners may be required to submit tax paperwork in accordance with law (if winnings exceed $5,000).  BEF may be required to withhold taxes for the winners.  The purchase of raffle tickets is not a charitable contribution and is not tax deductible.

- Employees of the Belton Educational Foundation may not enter
